My 1979 H16 took a bit of a tumble and grounding the otherday, making my frame very loose. I unbolted the hulls, and found that the front pylons have been severly galled down (about a millimeter of aluminum ground off all the way around). So, they obviously don;t seat very tightly in the castings. My plan currently is to epoxy them back to their origional width.
Has anybody seen this pylon problem before, or have a better solution to it? Also, does anybody have any sugestions on making my frame really stiff? Right now I have about 6-7inches of movement forwards to backwards between the two hulls. Should I also possibly consider replacing the rivets in the castings?
