Hello
I plan to transform my HC16

this will imply cutting and adding new tubes to the platform.
I have 2 option : welding but i am not sure the extruded aluminium is good for this ?

Milling blocs of Al which will adapt on the beam.

Does anyone knows if cad files of the cross sections of the beams cross and long section are
available somewhere ?

Thanks
JD

No and no.

Welding will remove the temper from the aluminum - for small repairs, it's OK, but not for real structural work.

There are no CAD files that I know of for the extrusion section. You're probably best off just cutting a section and digitizing it.
