| Post subject: | Hobie Mirage rudder will not stay down |
I have a new 2017 Hobie Mirage. The rudder will move up and down with no problem. However, once the rudder is put in the down position, as soon as you use the steering lever, the rudder starts to move back up. I have read the manuals on the rudder repair and still can't figure out the problem. I assume that something needs to be tightened or adjusted. Help?? |

There is a cleat for the down control line. You need to pull the rudder down and set the line into the cleat to hold it there. Manual page 18 https://static.hobiecat.com/digital_assets/mirage-kayak-manual-150828.pdf |
