Matt M. I recently acquired a Hobie Bob 30113, however it didn't come with any of the mounting hardware, rivets, washers or lock ring. It did come with the aluminum pole. Any chance I could order these parts still from you guys? If not, any idea on the sizes of the eye straps and the long rivet?

Thank you,

Adam

You can order from a dealer. There is the kit of parts 30118:

Matt,

I'm installing this on a H18SX.

Can you clarify, why are there 7 pop rivets, but only 5 holes to drill? Also is there a reason to drill into the casting at the top of the mast as shown on the installation instructions vs just putting them in on the upper part of the mast but below the casting? Also is there a reason why the long rivet is aluminum vs stainless steel?

Thank you so much for all of your help,

Adam

Rivets are best into the aluminum for strength.

Long aluminum simply holds the rod vertically in the eye straps.

I don't recall the number of rivets other than in an aluminum mast... the shorter would be used in all four eye strap locations.
