Hello all,
I bought a 21SC with a Cheetah motor mount. The kick up block and pin are missing (the block that keeps the motor in up position, then pivots on pin to use motor in down position). I'm hoping that someone has the specs for that block as I can see how a mm or two off could be a big issue for usability. We'll be keeping the boat in a fairly crowded marina for at least a couple months so could really use the help of motor to avoid bumper-boating while in and out of spot.

Thanks for your help. This board is an amazing resource.

Thanks Matt, I did contact Cheetah directly but haven't heard anything back. I'm hoping that someone will be near their boat with bracket and could take a couple of measurements.

Thanks,

I would say, shim up your motor until you like the position, and make a block that size. I also added a bungee on the arm to hold it down, since I found that it bounced in rough water. I ended up getting rid of my Cheeta mount and building KeithB's mount. It only cost $100 or so and is, I think, much better than the Cheeta. There's someone selling all the parts for one, look in the Getaway forum for Motor Mount, My Own Design and look at the last posting.
