I am going to attempt to MIG weld a break/gap about 5 inches long and pushed out on a hobie wave 13. I can weld aluminum. Any opinions?
New one is $689 US, plus very expensive freight as its oversize. Also, Dont want to lose all Summer not ailing waiting for new one.
So, I am going to weld it up regardless, cant break it anymore than it is. Order new one if the weld get stressed.
I would upload a pic, but I wont use an online intermediary storage services. Too bad you cant just upload an image directly.
Just take my word, its a bad break in the aluminum, no idea how it got there.
