 Post subject: Glueing Comp-tip

What type of glue/cement should I use to fasten the comp-tip to my mast? The guy I bought it off of didn't glue it. Does it need it be glued??

I just got done putting a comp tip on my 16. I used a two part epoxy from west marine. A tooth brush works well for application.
Remember that when you apply the epoxy to the extrusion and comptip that the epoxy will initially act as a lubricant. ( so don't take too much off in the dry fit process)
