I spend the night on my Getaway and I try to make it as quiet as possible while anchored. I eliminated all noises except for the mast rotating on the ball (which is caused due to wind/waves. If there was a way to keep that mast still, I think that'd solve that noise. Anybody have suggestions?

Wrap a line around the mast near the base several times. Rotate the mast to one side and tie off to something to keep the mast rotated to the side. That keeps it from swinging around.

Thanks! I agree with you. I eventually wrapped a line around the base and through one of the jib cam cleats off to the side. Like you suggested, I could also tie it off to something–perhaps the wing arm.
