I have made a bit of a mess of cleaning up a hull that had pretty significant rash. No matter what I do now, I can’t seem to remove the dirt that is in this area and smooth up the side of the hull. The surface is rough to the touch.

I used 3M Perfect-It Medium cut and a sort of wool synthetic bonnet that came with a Black and Decker polisher.

The issue is that I don’t seem to be removing the dirt, but just spreading it around and outward from the area I was repairing :(
