My 2003 Getaway Comp Tip now has a 1/2 inch gap between the tip and the aluminum mast below it all the way around.
Any help on getting it back together again snug like it was, and how do I do that?
Thanks !!!!

Likely best to pull it out and re-seat using epoxy.

THANKS !!!

I finally found the "SEARCH" button after I asked and now I have all of your and others suggestions.

Seems like it "really" does not need to be messed with right now with the cat being out of the water due to our lake being drained AND when next Spring arrives and I raise the mast, the two side shrouds and forestay WILL keep it all nice and tight and fully seated. I mean like where else can it possibly go when the mast is upright? I had it resting on it's side for two months on the trailer and drove the trailer around a few times and that is what probably loosened it!

You "kinda" agree?

THANKS AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Are we ever getting the "PEARL" model here in the U.S. ?

No pearl for the US market.

Gluing the CompTip in and leaving about 1/8" gap is recommended. Compression while sailing into the lower extrusion can cause chipping of the CompTip.
