Post subject:  Getaway trapeze

I have had a Getaway for two years and love it. I recently bought a trapeze systema dn have installed it, but am unsure whether or not the shock cords need to go around the wings or not. There is no installation kit that I can find on the Hobie Web sight Thaks for your help.

Thanks for all your help in advance.

They attach to the wires above the tramp. They actually go outside the wings because you stand on the wings when you are trapezing.

Be advised...

The Getaway trapeze wires are not for use with the wings. They would be a bit long. We do not support the use of the wires with wings.

I have my trap lines on the inside of the wing. I have not had any trouble using them this way. I only have one set if that makes difference.

Post subject:  Trapeze shock cord

Standard trapeze bunjee is 7.25 feet

But that is not intended to extend out to the wings.

1/4"--Get the good stuff. The cheap shock cord doesn't stretch as much and it photodegrades much faster.
