I've heard of these "sweet spots" for other cats when flying hulls where the boat tends to be stable and happy with a certain degree of heel. I cannot find that spot with my getaway; It's all I can do to keep the hull up for 30 seconds before I start to considerably slow down or drop the hull back into the water. My sheet's uncleated and I'm working it one arm's lenght in and out but still can't manage to find a "happy place" when I'm flying the hull. Is it just the Getaway or do other boats do the same way?

I have the same problem. I have to head up a bit to keep the hull up, this works for a while. The problem is if you are flying at the sweet spot the rudder is too flat to point me back up enough. Could my rigg be too loose?

I sometimes have trouble keeping it up also. (hey but I'm old) Letting it out an arm's length is quite alot try working just a few hand lengths in and out.
