Post subject:  Temporary mooring

I just found a few concerning posts regarding mooring a hobie getaway. Prior to reading this I have moored my getaway in a bay for the past 2 days. I plan on mooring it through the weekend.
Should I be concerned about damage occurring in this short period of time?

Better if you park it on shore....

If the bay is really still, no waves, the wind is quiet, there is no wake, and you take a piece of bungee around the shrouds to make the mast less likely to move and flop around, then my suggestion is maybe.

However, can you guarantee that the wind will be still and that Ms. Getaway will not bounce around in the swells?

If she does, you will end up damaging her rigging.
And I'm sure you'd rather enjoy your sailing.....so your choice.
