I have a 2003 Getaway CCMN1291D303 that i always assumed the rudders were plastic. They are starting to show signs of fibers like fiberglass, i usually remove the rudders since the the boat stays on the beach however got a pretty good fiberglass itch and noticed fibers coming through. Are these rudders really plastic or fiberglass. What would be the fix. If there not fiberglass putting West system on them would probably not be a good idea.
