I know there has been issues with buyers and scams....i got this email in regards to my post about selling my Getaway.....anyone kow this email address....person gave no name or [email protected]

I always use PayPal. That way if you have a problem you can get money back.

It is a scam. Do not give bank account info or cash the check or money order which are counterfeit

I did also through several emails. He told me that a cashiers check was in the mail which I never received. I was going to turn the whole thing over to the FBI. Several sellers on Beachcats.com were contacted also. Make sure you get cash or make sure any check is good before you cash it.

Be really careful. The modus is usually they'll have a transporter show up at your house with a cashiers' check for more than the amount and could you please give that guy the $300 or whatever in cash to pay him off. Let them know that no one is going anywhere with your property until AFTER seven to ten days for the cashiers' check to OFFICIALLY clear your bank and bets are you'll never hear from them again.
