i am unaware on any such item but i can advise you that you should not waste your money on the silver cover listed in the hobie catalog........it doesn't last and it is not fitted........ |

You can make your own custom cover that fits much nicer with a grommet tool and and a cheap harbor freight tarp. I just custom strips of tarp and covered my wings, but next year I'm not gonna bother. It's all a matter of labor and materials cost and for us... distribution costs too, so it does get more expensive to buy than DIY, but that is the same for any service industry right? Restaurants, Hotels, Cabs, Entertainment... The cover in the Hobie catalog is simply a price point item that gets the job done. It will last a few years if used correctly. Even the top grade materials for covers have limitations. Sunbrella says 5 years. The Universal covers in the catalog are a vinyl material and will break down faster if left to flog... just like a sail. $272 for the Getaway universal version (USD / USA 5-2014) or i found an online one ... $800 |

I've got no problem with the Hobie cover. I just like DIY. It's fun. I need a tarp that had a tight fit because I live in a very windy area. |

I bought the silver vinyl Hobie cover for my Getaway. It worked OK, with a couple of problems. The stick on velcro gets unstuck in the hot sun, so it comes undone. I cut drain slits in the parts covering the tramps after I came out after the first big rainstorm and found the tramps sagging alarmingly. |
