 Post subject: Batten pocket protectors

Location: Treasure Island, Florida
My main sail has clear plastic batten pocket protectors, but they currently are aft of the shrouds. the shrouds are pealing the plastic back. I might have the mast raked to far or not far enough. please help. My first thought is to have the plastic resown and extra added. I will need to do that regardless.
