As i did my safety walk around on my 06 Getaway this weekend I noticed the center cross bar (the one the mast sits on) has moved about 1/2" to the right. I took my hammer and a block and tried to whack it back into place.....no go no movement whatsoever. I looked for something that holds the cross bar in place with no results. How do I get the cross bar back into the correct position and more importantly I do I get it to stay there.

Crossbars seat against the inner hull with a stainless plate. Trampoline and rig tension hold it all together.

Not actually inside the hull but rather the inboard side of the hull. There is a bracket riveted to the cross bar that keeps it from sliding to the outside of the hull. The trampoline tension keeps the hulls pressed up against the bracket. Look under the trampoline at the center crossbar and you will see the bracket up against the hull.

It should be easy to see the inboard / bottom side of that crossbar and the plate in contact with the hull. If the "Sleeve" has moved... that is the molded-in tube the crossbar slides into... that would be interesting.

Photos?

I noticed similar movement on the aft crossbar..... does it assemble and rest on a bracket inside of the hull with tramp keeping closing pressure? The wings bolt into the outside of the hull at the same point. Are they involved or attached to the aft crossbar inside the hull? Asking since I've always had water inside of right hull with no visible cause..... possibly the sliding movement of hull and crossbar connection is the water entry point.

Not a reason for leakage. There is a sleeve molded into the hull for the main and aft crossbars. The crossbars slide in and rest against the inner side of the hulls on the stop plate that is riveted to the underside.
