Never before attempted. To be made by a fleet of Hobie Cat Getaway sail catamaran owners.
Starting in the Fall of 2024, the fleet intends to depart from Bahia de Los Angeles, Baja California Mexico, up around the Sea of Cortez, down the west coast of Mexico, Central and South America, around Cape Horn, up the east coast of South and Central America, Mexico and terminating at the U.S./Mexico border in Texas.
Along the route, the fleet intends to stop and explore the finest snorkeling locations. At the end of each day of sailing, the fleet will stop for the night at a predetermined location to meet with the locals and experience their local meals and culture.
Why make such a trip? The fleet intends to show the world just how beautiful the North, Central and South American coastlines are as well as what can be accomplished on a Hobie Cat Getaway sail catamaran.
