So I was curious if anyone has used EVA foam in replacement of the mesh covering. Or if anyone has sailed their Getaway on the wings without any cover at all. I tried to search and saw people putting it underneath but never heard of it used in substitution.

How would you hold it on? I think glues would work for a short time, but make a mess if you ever needed to replace again-foam isn't very durable in a marine environment without a cover. Besides, I found that bungie lacing holding the provided cover on to be very useful so I'd be loathe to lose that feature.

I've found marine grade mats used for Jet Ski floors. Based on the abuse that I've seen them receive and still sticking I imagine they will suit the wings just fine.

I put thin ensolite pads under my wing covers; softens the seat a bit.

I bought some EVA to stick on in place of mesh. I'll let you know how it goes!

I need new wing covers.
Anyone has ideas for good alternatives?
Any pictures would be appreciated.

I am extremely happy with the result.
Wings came out gorgeous, very comfortable, more durable and soft to my butt.
They also match the color of the main trampoline. :D :D :D !
I am ready to take her out...I may even just sail all the way to Long Island!
I got myself the best wings in the world.
