So I am buying a Hobie Getaway. The owner noticed that some of the sail batten covers are either missing or don't appear to be protecting any longer. i am in need of a solution that can be shipped to me by Friday as we are getting the boat then and want to begin protecting it immediately.

Here is a thread for reference: https://www.hobie.com/forums/viewtopic. ... 24&start=0

Here is an item I've seen on Amazon that looks to fit the bill: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01A9X5G ... th=1&psc=1

1.37" seems to make the most sense.

Thoughts?

Looks like a good solution. I noticed on my boat that the shrouds contact the sail outside of the protected area, so I might get some of this and add it to my sail.
