Gday, when i go camping i find it's handy to store a few things in the hulls to keep the clutter off the decks. I have installed a bolt and bracket inside the hulls through the esky. This was accessed via the round hatch. The bracket has a screw-gate carabiner attached to it, so that ropes of various lengths can be attached. Some items get tied up and attached to a line. Others, like some fenders (for rolling the cat up the beach), get attached directly to the lines but some items need to be kept dry. Instead of buying dry bags that are never the right size or shape, i found cheap plastic screw top jars which i use mainly for food storage. These slide into simple bags made from spinnaker cloth that i sewed up on the wife's machine. Off cuts of sail cloth can often be found for free at a local sailmaker. Doesn't need to be waterproof.. the jars take care of that. They fit perfectly down the round hatch and lie in the hull tethered on lines. Make sure you loop the rope in a basic knot before lowering down hole, or the bag opening can come loose. Not sure what would happen in a pitchpole scenario... but trying to avoid those when camping.. Hope of interest. Just sharing.

Brilliant Idea! I’m looking for ideas to use for an upcoming trip and that would be perfect
