My garage is approximately 19.5 feet long

How long is the getaway + trailer?

Which trailer should I buy to ensure that trailer + getaway on top has a total length of no more than 19 feet?

Need to fit it in a 1 car garage...

Thank you!

Paolo

You may need to install a hinge on the trailer tongue to allow it it fit in your garage.

https://www.etrailer.com/Folding-Trailer-Tongue/Fulton/FHDPB230101.html

You’d probably also need to un-strap the boat and slide it forward on the trailer since normally the sterns overhang the back of the trailer by a few feet. The problem you’re going to run into with that is the bar for the forward tramp is going to contact the forward mast support on the trailer, so you’d be limited in how far you can slide the boat forward on the trailer before you need to remove the mast support.

The mast is 25 feet long. So your garage height has to be 16.3 feet minimum. Good luck with that.

You may still be able to do it if you can take the comp tip off each time you park. It doesn't have to be bondo'd in but getting the mainsail in the groove could become an issue if you don't get it perfect prior to raising the mast each time. Gravity and the mainsail will hold it in while sailing. But you will have to remember to pull it out of the mast before getting on the road or it will fall out somewhere on the road.

Thank you so much!

Mast is actually not a problem.... ceiling it’s unusually high (almost 20 feet ) and have another garage by it (double garage with 2 doors. I can’t let it on the mast holder, but can take it off and store it at an angle ...

Thank you again for the suggestion of the product that folds the tongue!
