Does anyone have experience with this product?

https://dynamicdollies.com/shop/hobie-getaway/

How easy is to get hobie getaway on top of it on the beach solo?

How easy is to pass hobie getaway from this to car trailer?

Thank you

Paolo

That looks pretty good, but it should for a grand. My experience is that it takes at least two people to get a getaway up on wheels.

Cat trax seems to be the standard - tried ‘n true. Really can’t go wrong with them. And they are a few hundred dollars less expensive than the ones you linked.

I think the front tramp on the Getaway would really make it difficult to load the boat onto the wheels single handed. It helps to be able to stand between the bows and kick the wheels under the boat while lifting the hulls. Maybe if you took the front tramp off it would be doable. You probably don’t need the front tramp anyway if you’re solo.

I went with Cat Trax and am very happy of my choice... they can me transportated on top of the front tips of the boat and make boat even more stable and locked in place on the trailer.

they are very manouvrable.
