:x I found grease on the tramp and also on the shrouds. This was while still on the trailer. Tried wiping the grease from the tramp and that just spread it. Its like a graphite grease, have no idea where it came from - just want it gone. Any suggestions on a cleaning material?
Also, how do you remove water line marks from the hulls? How about the black lines where the hold down straps cross the hull? I wash with a pressure washer after sailing but the marks are just accumulating. I would rather ask than use something that will harm the material. My older boats black tramps and fiberglas hulls have some advantages.
Thanks, Bill

Have you had any luck yet? For the tramp, try a citrus degreaser/ Test it on an inconspicuous place first. I doubt it would hurt that coated tramp material. As for the black marks on the hulls, give some automotive cleaner wax a try. It has a mild abrasive, which should help polish them out. The wax will not hurt the poly.
