Hello gang. I do not want to have to drive to flordia for Wave racing.

Therefore, I want to organize Wave racing in division 6. I have talked to Chris Green (head of hobie div. 6) and have his blessing for starting up such a thing. He tells me that a fleet of 5 Waves will give us our own start at div. 6 regattas. So I need 4 more Wave owners who want to race.

Drop me a line ([email protected]) - or even reply here in this thread and let me know that your interested. Also tell me dates that you are avaliable, or which div. 6 event you would most like to sail in. If I can get enough people interested, we can pick the best regatta (the one that most people are close to) and have our own fleet in it.

Here is division 6's website with a list of events. http://groups.google.com/group/division-6

I'd be willing to go as far as Nevada (Lake Mead?), Arizona, all of California...in other words, 8 hours or less driving time.

So. California would be good location except I don't know how many WAVE owners are down here. I have yet to see another WAVE out there besides mine. Judging by how everyone on the beach reacts to the "novelty" of my WAVE, they are far and few between.

Louisiana and Texas: too far/expensive for me

There looks to be several Waves attending the Daggerless regatta May 16-17 in OK City. I will be going. Bring your Wave and lets race!

If you guys could let me know if you plan on attending the Daggerless Regatta in Oklahoma City on May 16-17th, I can be sure to modify the Sailing Instructions to comply with the Wave Class rules.

Well, I am coming. I have been emailing a guy in Dallas who has aggreed to bring his Wave. I also have word of two other Waves coming - however I have not been in direct contact with those two. So far that makes 4 Waves. Of course, I would like more
