You entirely removed my first post, the post above was an answer to my first post.

Briefly, I'm 33 and my family has an old H16s. I recently (2 years ago) had brain surgery which totally messed up my balance, so other sports like surfing, windsurfing, etc are now impossible for me to do. I mostly sail now but our old (late 70's) H16 is just too heavy and too difficult to rig for me with my balance issues.

So I've been looking at the Wave as a good option to continue sailing with less of a hassle and less danger to my head (no boom). I just have a couple of questions.

1. Coming from an H16 I was wondering about the Jib kit, if anyone has used it before and if they recommend it, at least for low wind?

2. Also I've seen Waves with a trapeze setup for the front passenger. My friend who usually handles the jib on the H16 is very skinny, he probably weighs 120-130 lbs. So with the trapeze he could hang nearly behind me for speed or temporarily shift his weight forward to surf waves. Has anyone had any experience with these?

3. Does anyone have pictures of how these sails look like:

38991000 SAIL, WAVE MAIN WHITE
39991000 SAIL, WAVE MAIN RESORT WHITE*

Here's a pic of me (green shirt) with our H16.

And the video above is with 5 people on the H16.

No one here removed a post as far as I can see. We have approved 3 for you now... only two show up. Humm?

The trapeze is really not needed with two adults on the boat. More for training kids. The jib can help tack and add a little downwind performance.

The white sails are just that... white. The resort version has a smaller "rectangular" window.

No worries, thanks for the replies on the questions. I might get the trapeze anyways, my sister weighs less than 100 lbs and me and my friends are all pretty skinny. We plan to keep our H16 so it seems like a good training platform.

Another quick question, is the Baby Bob enough to provide mast flotation on the H16? Seems like the Mama Bob is a better option to be on the safe side.

I'd go Baby Bob on a 16... Mama is really too big. The flotation of the baby, when used on a 16, is so much further out (more lever / longer mast) it doesn't need to be proportionally larger than what is used on the Wave. Mama is for the Getaway and the added forces of the wind against its large main and front tramps when capsized.

Ok thanks, closest dealer is in Miami, I'll probably have it shipped by sea in a container.

Is the mast split into two 10ft sections or is the comp tip shorter?
