Have a friend looking at a used wave. 2000 model. the discussion is concerning cracks in the hulls where the cross beams fit into the hulls. My friend has not seen the cracks yet but is alittle worried about buying such a boat if it is "breaking apart" Is there a way to "weld" the plastic to stop the cracks?

Have not heard of a problem on a Wave related to cracking at the crossbar area. If so... never had a failure related to that.
