I want to repair leaking Wave hull plugs (the ones on the top deck below the purple seat covers). I found the far back ones and resiliconed them in but wanted to know if there are others. The Hobie parts list pdf doesnt seem to show them specifically and I don't want to rip up the seat pads any more than I have to. Any help on the location and quantity would be appreciated. Thanks!

There's an access port hidden under each of the four seat pads. The factory seals them with a hot-melt glue gun, but that usually only lasts a few years. Newer boats also have screws holding the plates down, but they can still leak.

Nothing sticks forever to these hulls, including the seat pads; so they all need to be re-glued from time to time.

Hey Jack,

Do the new boats need sealing? Or did they fix it?
