I found a used wave - definitely NOT pristine, but hulls and mast in good shape - tramp is still alive, but won't last long. Rudders OK, No sail. No trailer, but I have one I can use (my small sloop trailer, since I moor that boat)

$1500.

I could buy an aftermarket sail and tramp for 750 together......figuring maybe another $250 for rigging and other stuff, and I am still at 1/ price of new (and less chance of being stolen on beach?).

Oh, it has the backrests, but they need some slight work.....not sure if I really want those anyway....

Deal? or No Deal? There are not a lot of used waves around!

Hmm, my guess is that it would the standard model.
New England......USA.

As I said, there are almost none for sale even within hundreds of miles! It seems the demand/supply curve for these is strange....people love 'em and keep 'em...

I honestly don't think there are ten decent ones (used) for sale on the entire east coast from Maine to Florida!

If I could get a super deal on a new or leftover or 1-2 year old demo I'd probably spring for it, but tax times is coming soon and I owe, so unless the stock market shoots up instantly I am not feeling flush enough to go new!

(oh, and I have another small sailboat (Precision 18) which I did buy new, so that affects the budget too!)

I would say price is right seeing how hard they are to find used and how well they hold their value so far. Depending where it is and if you are passing it up, let me know. :)

I would like to take the backrests off of your hands, assuming they are usable, what do you want for them, considering the shipping is going to kill me price wise. Let me know, thanks, Robert.
