How much water do you get in your hulls on a typical sailing day? Did you ever determine how it was getting in? How did you remedy the problem? |

I just purchased a new 2011 wave standard (not club). Made sure that no water was in the hulls before taking it out the first time. I've taken it out to the ocean a few times and on the river and I haven't seen any appreciable water buildup. < 1 cup / hull after 5 outings. |

I'm convinced that most water comes in from topside. My boats run dry unless it's raining and then they make take on a half gallon of water in several hours time. Anywhere you have a hatch or a screw or fitting penetrates the hull is a likely water entry spot. |

Check the seat areas. Loose seat pads and a failed seal on the cover plate underneath seem to be the primary cause of hull leaks. Do a soapy water test to confirm any leak location: http://www.hobiecat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=169 |
