Post subject:  Can the Club Wave be disassembled for cartopping?

I have read the differences between the Wave Classic and the Wave Club and regularly read of the ease in cartopping the Classic.

Can the Club still be broken down for cartopping?

From what I have read it seems like the only difference in breakdown would be the tramp (much simpler with the hooks on the Classic) and the rigging (again simpler with the classic). Is there any thing else that makes the Club more difficult to breakdown for cartopping or is everything else the same?

I like what I read about the Club a bit more but will need to break it down once a year for travel.

Thanks for any help.

I take off my rigging on my club even when I trailer it. All it takes is 1 pin in each stay and their off.

I think your question was about breaking down the boat, meaning taking the tramp off? Yes you could but it would be somewhat time consuming. That was the reason behind the different sytem on the SE or Classic.

But even if you had to do that, it would likely still take you less than an hour to get into the water.

So no biggie.
