Take the end of the main sheet and pass it from forward through the swivel jaws, dead eye then through the car and finally the eye behind the track...

:?

This doesn't seem to make sense... the end of the main sheet is what ya pull on to sheet in and out.. so if I do as stated this end will be tied off at the behind the track...?

I thought you used a separate line to control the traveler, but this makes no mention of that, or of cutting a section of the main off to use for this.. I figure thats what I need to do but want to make sure.

Over all the install from start to finish took me an hour and a half, 1/3 of that being drilling out the original eye screws. Not too bad at all really.
