Post subject:  Cheata Motor Mount issues for Wave versions

Hi All

I am in the process of purchasing a 2011 Hobie Wave. I do not know at this time if the boat is a Classic Wave or the Club version due to slow response from the seller.
The reason I ask is that the Cheata Motor mount seems to only fit the Club version. Hobie Catalogue Number (3180 WAVE CLUB / H14 / 16 / 17).
According to the Hobie sales brochure the difference is not about the crossbar but more so about the tramp: Easy-attach, one-piece, colored mesh trampoline with built-in drink holders (Classic Version),
3-piece mesh with lacing and grommets (Club Version).
Can someone please enlighten me on the difference to possibly not allow this motor mount to fit the standard version. As it seems that the motor mount clamp is fitted to the rear crossbar independent of the tramp.

Thank you in advance for any response.

Ever feel like you are in a Race against yourself when you answer your own post?
(I could have used another analogy but I doubt that would be family proper).

I bought the used 2011 Club Edition Wave today and hauled it home, and yes it does have to do with the tramp, according to the vendors of this boat from Comox/Courtenay, BC: Compass Point Adventures.
(in case the 41 people who read this post, wonder).
Why would I bother with a $400 motor bracket and a $2000 Torqeedo 1003?
Because The Straights of Georgia on the West Coast of BC, Canada can develop a wicked current that only a motor can possibly try to equalize if the tide shifts and the wind goes to zero.

A week ago a Canadian Coast Guard Aux 21' SAR RIB, (powered by 2, 150 hp outboards) on a SAR practice exercise mission, lost the lifes of two dedicated volunteers in the Skookumchuck Narrows of the Sechelt Peninsula.
My sincere condolences for the grieving members of their Families.

Good winds to Y'all. Play Safe!
