It seems that the 2 versions of the Wave have not been clearly defined by Hobie in this Forum or the Owner's Manual that came with the Wave.
Considering that Hobie sells a different version of a Motor Mount for each, might it not be in the best interest of the new or prospective Owners of each version to make this information available to them?
Further, it seems that Hobie still sells both versions of the Wave, which makes the current Owner's Manual far more confusing than it needs to be.
Even more confusing is the fact that one of suppliers of these Motor Brackets is not even aware of the other version of The Wave that Hobie is selling.
I certainly do NOT want to stir up any issues, however, if I'm about to buy a $400 Motor Bracket to attach a $2000 Torqeedo Electric Motor to, it is only right for Hobie to provide as much information as is needed by any owner that is considering adding that possible $2400 option to their Wave.

Best Regards
