Hey all, hope the sailing season is in full swing for everyone. Ours is about underway now (with wetsuits on ; )

I'm a member of a club here in Edmonton. We have two club-owned Waves on the beach for member use and are planning a "Tip the Wave Day" so we can all experience the process of righting it. The question I have for you is, how are we best to tip them? Is there a way to minimize risk of damage and injury or do you just grab the halyard and lean back? Any words of wisdom would be appreciated so we don't break the club property or injure anybody.

Thank in advance.

Make sure the wires are tight and the clevis pins and rings are secure. Sails up. Stand on the lee side and grab the shroud and lean... If in shallow water, someone can lift the weather hull to assist.

Doing it in 15 mph + wind is more fun!
