| Post subject: | Wave rudder repair |
The rubber curved tiller connections finally gave up the ghost on the old wave. I am wondering about repair options. Should I order the conversion kit 1954 which includes the extended crossbar? Seems silly to spend over 100 bucks for the couple extra inches of crossbar length. Opinions? |

You could bend the tiller arms inward? Then add the 1957 Kit? $76.99 (USD / USA / 5-2014) |

Thanks for the reply Matt. We ended up just getting the kit with the tiller crossbar. Finally after about 12 years we are making the first of repairs...pretty good durability! We have the ckub and I spliced some amsteel instead of using the cable to secure the tramp sides. No fishhooks now! Dan |
