The public boat ramp at the Norton Reservoir is at the end of Juniper Rd (east side of the lake). A lot of people don't realize it's there because the road appears to be a dead end before you get to the ramp, but the road actually turns left into a small complex of houses and then loops around down to the lake. It's a dirt/sand launch area with space for maybe 5 or 6 trucks with trailers to park.

I'll check out the Hobie Fleet 448 link, that sounds like fun.

To everyone who posted advice for flying the hull, I just wanted to say thanks so much!

Finally got a day free to go sailing (with good wind) and I used all the advice which helped me fly the hull about 6 times in just about an hour of sailing.

Success at last! ...even if it was just for a few seconds. What a great feeling!
