Just brought my Wave home from storage. The tramps are pretty dirty. Initial pressure spraying (lightly) cleaned off a lot of the grime, but there's still some mildew and dirt to be cleaned. I've tried Hobie Cleaner and 303. Both do an admirable job, but the underside of the tramps still need TLC. There are some light milder spots remaining.

I'm reluctant to use anything with bleach for fear of attacking the stitching. What have others used, successfully, to clean tramps without damaging the stitching ?

I see 303 also makes a specific "cleaner" - is it any better than just using the Marine 303 ?
Appreciate your input.

thanx,
bill

Since I've finished cleaning and no one responded I decided to respond to my own post.

Initially, I removed both tramps and 'lightly' pressure washed both sides. Afterwards, there still remained dark stains. I used a microfiber cloth and my index finger and cleaned both sides of both tramps with plain Clorox bleach. Bleach on the cloth, not on the tramps. Afterwards I sprayed Simply Green solution and again 'lightly' pressure washed both tramps.

Final step I sprayed S303 Marine on both sides. I avoided any stitching when using the bleach.

End result: the tramps look almost brand new.
