So I managed to take a decent sized chip out of the mast track about a foot below the top of the mast (I assume while trailering and not using enough padding between the mast and the traveler track on the rear crossbar). While raising the sail, the fabric gets caught on the sharp plastic edge and prevents me from being able to raise the sail fully. I'm trying to figure out the best way to repair the damage and hopefully avoid having to buy a new mast tip.
Here's a pic of the damage:

Anybody have any better ideas?
Also, does anybody know what material the mast track is made of? It seems like a plastic of some kind, but I want make sure I pick the right epoxy/glue that will properly bond to the surface.
Thanks in advance!
