Interested in a Hobie Wave. I have a utility trailer (~ 4' 6" wide, 10' long) and I'm not really interested in buying / registering another trailer for a catamaran. Are the Wave's hulls easily separated /rejoined to the trampoline for more compact transport to fit on my current trailer (i.e. without deconstructing the tramp lacing)?
Thanks.

Do you have the Velcro on you back bar?
If so this is the resort with the cupbholders . I have it and it simple to get back together. It can take me 30 to 45 or so min to put it all toghert but I do I once a year.

I find it hard to get the bars in the hulls and line up correctly.

I remember seeing some pics of someone who had built extended wooden cross rails that supported a Wave on a utility trailer. Google for images like "hobie wave on utility trailer" and you might get some ideas. If you have the Club Wave, I'd guess that installing/uninstalling trailer supports would be easier then breaking the boat down all the time.

Edit: found a pic
