I've seen YouTube videos with a Hobie Wave trapeze. Does anyone know if these 'traps' are Hobie approved ?

Are they aftermarket add-ons or options for new Waves ? Are special stays and tangs required ?

The Hobie Sailing Parts and Accessories catalogue lists part number 38140001 as Wave Trapeze Kit. Never tried one though.
