One other question:

There are two stainless crews in threaded inserts molded into the hulls about 18 inches back from where the side stays attach to the hull. What are these for?

These are inserts for tramp track connection. Hulls are molded to be used as either left or right. The insert can also be used to anchor a trap return line. Otherwise... ignore them.

I don't have a picture of the tiller, but I did have an unplanned test of the new plastic rudder housing system. My Wave is stored on top of my 20 with both mast up. I drove down to the club to check on the boat because of a passing storm. As I approached the club, my Wave mast was at an odd angle. Not good. When I was in the club I saw why, the Wave had blown backwards off the 20 and landed on the rudders, primarily the starboard rudder with the bows still on the 20. The rudder blade was flexing hard (starboard, Wave), but the casting, pintals, and lock down assemblies were all just fine. Just a few nicks in the tips of each rudder was the only visible damage. I am glad I tied the front of the trailer down, it kept the EPO2s on the 20 from hitting the ground as well.
