Tramp replacement time

Hi folks,
It’s time for me to replace the trampoline on my wave club. My current tramp is weathered and recently my foot went through it.
This boat is strictly for pleasure cruising. Obviously, I am not good at covering it while not in use. This sounds silly, but is there a more durable option? I’m also interested in “staying dryer” while on the water.
I would be happy with my current mesh, just wanted to see if there are any other options I could consider.

A vinyl tramp will allow less spray to come up from below, however if it is not laced tightly, it will sag and create pools where water will collect. Hobie tramps can easily last 10-20 years if they are cared for. That mostly just means keeping them out of the sun when not being used. Either cover it with a tarp or have a canvas shop build a cover from Sunbrella fabric. This will significantly extend the life of your tramp.

I’ve had great experience with Atomic Tarp. Nine years and looks like new. And the black tramp makes my boat look like Darth Vader.

There is nothing more durable than the factory stock trampolines. Heat-welded rather than UV sensitive stitching.
