Is the wave (early one) front crossbar the same extrusion as the bottom section of mast for wave/h14?

I have a spare mast and a warped front crossbar....thinking out loud here....

Not in the US. The crossbar has very thick walls and an oval shape inside the tear drop outer shape. The French built Wave did use the mast section, but they slide in an I beam section to support the mast loads.

Thank you. I used a h14 mast extrusion I had bought for my abandoned 2nd mast project. I bought a piece of square aluminum that just fit inside and secured it in place with foam etc. Works great.

I finally got my boat in the water today. It's been a year+ since I bought it and my restore got tabled.

I bought lots of genuine parts and lots of used make due parts and all in I'm probably 3k into the whole thing. New sail, new tramp from SLO, new seat ovals, added a traveller, some fresh decals etc.

Now for the sailing questions vs the fix er up questions...
