Is it bad idea to leave the mast on ??? i have left my hobie wave with the most on for a month, is it a bad idea to leave it on? i always take the sail down, so its ready to go, i was also thinking on making a cover for it so the sun doesnt hit the trampoline .. what do you think??

You can leave the mast up. Just be sure the wires are snug and check the shackles from time to time.

The comptip mast section will get fried after a couple years of sun exposure. Suggest you shoot it with some spray paint every few years for protection.
