I found a 1999 wave , club edition, for sale but it has 4-5 inch cracks around the crossbars on one hull only. The other seems to be in fine condition. I also located a good deal on a used replacement hull, but it is the SE version. Is it possible to make this work somehow?

Not really something that is possible - the older SE had just hooks to mount the tramps - and the Club requires a track that is screwed into the hull - it needs a back up place installed on the inside of the hull - you'd need to remove the decks pads and hatches - Hobie doesn't sell the raw materials to do the conversion, so it won't be possible
