Hey Guys,

I'm sure we'll get hit hard with winter sooner or later out here in Colorado... but for now I'll take kayak fishing in December! Typically this time of year I use the period just before ice starts forming to get out in the kayak (years ago float tube) and test out my ice equipment before heading to the high country with it. Anymore I have more fun fishing out of the kayak with ice gear than I do ice fishing, and bass even stubborn sluggish bass can be taken on tiny little tungsten jigs. Instead of typing a couple thousand words I'll just add the video, and in the comments below I'll add a few fish I've caught since filming this episode. The biggest fish I've caught the past month has been on an ice jig from the kayak lol.

Tight lines,
Eric
