Hello everyone,

I am new to Hobie. I bought a new Hobie Outback in the Camo. I love it! I recently bought a Hobie Live well and had a question. The flow tube sticks a bit through the scupper. If I buy live bait, put it into the live well for the drive to the beach, in the short 10 minute drive will the live well keep the goggle eyes lively? Also how do you launch the kayak at the beach with the tubes sticking out of the scupper? I know those may be dumb questions, but all the videos I have seen show the kayaker already in the ocean and putting live bait being caught on a sabiki into the live well. What if I already have live bait in the live well and launch from the beach. I know the pump will be on, but will it be difficult to launch? Any help is most appreciated.

So no responses in a couple of days. Are the questions not clear enough? Or does it just take awhile for folks to get time to respond? I'm headed over to the Atlantic next week and was just hoping to get some input. I know everyone is busy, I would really be in debt to you if you could just drop a few pointers. Thanks in advance.
