I have a Mirage Outback and would love to take it to the beach to fish beyond the breakers. I have heard horror stories about people losing all their gear in the surf. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to launch in the surf and or how to best secure your fishing gear?
Thanks

Test and practice without all the gear. Watch the wave sets... they cycle from small to larger typically. Time your entry. Use the paddle. Especially when coming in as you WILL get spun to one side and will have to brace into the wave face (fins up!! our you will flip). I am sure there are videos on this.
